Once the site goes live it will take up to a month for search engines to find your website. Even though the search engine has indexed your site there is still work that needs to be done for a site to have good ranking with the search engine. This is the proccess of SEO.

I have heard that the type of programing used to build the website can effect how search engines will rank my website. Does the type of code used to build website really effect the ranking of webpages?

WOW! Peak Studios does so much for SEO. All the other companies I have look to find SEO services for only say repetitive stuff like “Title Tags, Meta Tags, Links”.. All that is good but the more the better in my search results.
