There currently is no backend of the guestbook at the moment. But it consists of a MySQL database to record each entry made.

Thanks Nabbs. I have always thought DB integration with Flash is the low point of using ActionScript. This plugin was really intendeed to make that proccess simple. Even switching between ASP and PHP is easy to do now. I had one of our new developers who doesn’t know ASP try out that extension. in 10 minutes he came back to me with a working hello world script on an MS Access DB using the mdb file type. I’m in the middle of making more tutorials today I hope everyone will like.

Yes we will be releasing many more tutorials. we are currently releaseing the ASP verson and testing the .NET version. We are also working on the Java version. The new tutorials will include reference to making these dynamic Flash apps using any of the 4 extensions by creating the specific language’s files and then only changing the import class from …php.* to .asp.*, .net.* or .java.*
